Self-directed brand + social content concept

Inspired by STIR.
Imagined as Juniper.

My favorite Colorado Springs coffee shop inspired Juniper, a fictional café and cocktail bar. A self-directed exploration of brand identity, copy, and social content.

01 / The inspiration

What keeps me coming back to STIR

Books, plants, warm lighting, and room to settle in. STIR feels just as right for an afternoon studying as it does for drinks with friends. I wanted to bring that everyday comfort into a new brand.

02 / The interpretation

Turning that feeling into Juniper

Juniper is a neighborhood spot for students, young professionals, and anyone looking for a regular place to read, take a break, or meet a friend.

“Your usual, from first cup to last call” connects its coffee and cocktail offerings. The content follows those small rituals from a quiet morning cup to an evening catching up.

A linocut wordmark, green sprig, and blue berries give the identity a warm, handmade feel. The voice is conversational and lightly playful: “Same seat, different drink.” “Your afternoon plans can be very small.”
